Growing up in a family deeply rooted in real estate, Brittany Duke was immersed in the world of houses, renovations, and investing from an early age. Whether she was helping around the Duke Homes office or visiting job sites alongside her family, she developed a natural passion for real estate and the relationships that make every project meaningful.
While attending college, Brittany competed in mediation and negotiation tournaments both nationally and internationally, gaining early experience in communication, conflict resolution, and advocacy. She went on to earn her law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law and spent several years as a prosecutor, sharpening her skills in negotiation, communication, and strategic problem-solving.
Today, Brittany is proud to serve as a partner at Duke Homes, LLC, bringing both her legal background and lifelong real estate experience to the business. She is passionate about helping clients confidently navigate important life transitions — whether selling a longtime family home, preparing a property for the market, investing in a renovation, or finding the perfect next chapter. Brittany believes that real estate is ultimately about people, and that trust, clear communication, and a relationship-focused approach create the best outcomes.
When not working, Brittany enjoys playing pickleball, reading, staying current on legal and Supreme Court developments, and spending time with family and friends.
Lauren Daugherty has had a passion for real estate from a young age. For more than a decade, browsing Zillow, Trulia, and other real estate platforms has been her idea of fun. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Global Studies in 2020, followed by her law degree from the University of Missouri in 2024.
Lauren began her career at a plaintiff-side class action litigation firm focused on data privacy before transitioning to a prosecuting attorney’s office, where she further strengthened her advocacy, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Today, Lauren has dedicated her career full-time to real estate investing through Duke Homes, LLC. She believes a home is one of the most meaningful parts of a person’s life and is passionate about creating straightforward, win-win solutions for homeowners and buyers alike. Whether purchasing a property, helping someone transition out of a home with ease, or connecting buyers with the right opportunity, Lauren approaches every situation with professionalism, empathy, and integrity.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her dog, Mika.
Kyla Becker is the backbone to the organization. She has been working with Duke Homes as office manger for more than 20 years and her professionalism and dedication are unmatched. Kyla possesses unlimited compassion and business acumen in everything she does–personally and professionally.
When Kyla's not in the office she enjoys playing in the park with her children and pickleball with her husband. She also takes pleasure in curling up with a good book and road trips.
